Isn't there a movie called the Ghost or something. I know it had something to do with a rb from LSU and then he went on to play in the pros for washington. But I may be wrong on that. I'm wanting the actor in it is Dennis Quaid (sp).

The movie you are remembering is "Everybody's All American." Yes it does star Dennis Quaid as Gavin Grey. His nickname in the movie is "The Grey Ghost."
